Mission Statement
The Cultural Center serves as a local resource to educate and enlighten through outreach events and programs and to preserve the past history and culture of "The Barrens" for future generations. "The Barrens" encompasses present-day Barren, Allen, Hart, Metcalfe and Monroe counties. The museum's collections consist of artifacts, works of art, publications, archival materials, genealogy library and other items related to the area.
